Starlight Theatre Academy

Don't let your child get lost in the mix... join Starlight Theatre Academy; a theatre school with a difference. Our classes are purposefully small- with no more than 25 per class location, at a range of ages- everyone learns, grows and laughs together. Smaller classes = more attention for each child. No one is left out, and we are able to make our classes bespoke to the needs of the group.

Everyone who wants one is guaranteed a speaking part in our twice yearly shows, and our Starlets (4-7s) are offered the opportunity to take part too. Classes are child-led, creative and engaging, we work on building the skills and confidence to create brave performers and independent young people.

Starlets (4-7s) runs in Newark and Balderton, and we go on imagination led drama adventures. Last term we explored under the sea, meeting mermaids, talking fish and all kinds of magical creatures. This term we will be going into Space! There's no class like it!

Starlight Theatre Academy in Newark and North Hykeham will be working on their scripted, practically perfect musical. Combining students favourite songs, well known stories, and some typical Starlight magic, we work together to create an enjoyable family performance. Any student who wishes to will get a speaking role, and those who don't want to still take part in other positions such as Dance Captain and Assistant Director.

Starlight Theatre Academy is a bespoke theatre school, catering for students who feel left out or overwhelmed by larger groups, run by dedicated, experienced teachers. All our staff, even our 16yo assistants, have a full DBS check. At Starlight, the children come first.
